Patent Translation
Whether you need a patent translation for information or for filing, Intranso can provide you with an accurate, highly readable document in English or in a foreign language.
Intransco has been preparing translations for patent attorneys since 1973-in the fields of biotechnology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, consumer products, electrical engineering, electronics, gadgets of many kinds, industrial technology, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, physics, semiconductors, and similar technical subjects. All translations are performed by professional translators who are trained in specific fields of technology. Often the translator has published his/her own work in a specialized field. Each translation is also carefully edited by a senior editor who has experience in peer review and editing for specialized publications.
Much of Intransco's patent translation is from Japanese and German into English. French and Spanish patent translation are also in fairly high demand. Additionally, Intransco offers patent translations from Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, and many other languages.
Intransco also offers patent translations into the languages of the European Union as well as into other European languages, Japanese and several other Asian languages. Due to the continuing expansion of the EU, we are asked to translate into continually more languages used in the patent offices of the EU countries.
Intransco has also provided patent translations for patent examination and patent opposition. For this work, we use several translator and editor teams, so that we will have individuals familiar with the prior proceedings always available for the next step in such proceedings.
Further, our clients have often asked us to prepare translations of various documents to be used in patent infringement suits, patent nullity suits and similar documents for presentation in court. Often this material includes handwritten lab notebooks or memos as well as published patents, patent applications, and correspondence. Frequently, this work requires translation of a large amount of material in a short amount of time. Again, Intransco uses several translator and editor teams to assure the accuracy and timeliness of such projects.
